MOPAR day at St-Thomas raceway.

Short notice, it's next Saturday, June 15. This show is not just for MOPAR fans, although it's a MOPAR only show, there's usually loads of beautiful cars and rare cars there, and some great racing.

Look for me, stop in and say Hi. I'll be there with this years Moparfest participant door prize, '69 Valiant , two door post, with a  little 360ci.

I'm kinda looking forward to that Hemi Shoot Out also. I love coming home smelling like rubber.

Just got the li'l '69 Valiant home, topped up the tank with high octane for the built 360ci. It's going to be a long drive to St-Thomas, this thing is built to go straight rather quick. It rev's a bit high at highway speed, and the engine sits on solid mounts (no insulator/rubber), with the 3" low restriction dual and W2 headers, solid lifters, no power steering or brakes, manual valve body...which I was 25 again, maybe I could enjoy the drive better. This will be a long drive there and then back, I've got the beer ready for when I get back, I think I'll need it.

Weather still looks favorable, hope there's a good turn out.

Worst part is...I can't race it, crying.gif.

It was a beautiful day, and a good turnout. There was slightly over 250 participant cars at the show, and I don't know how many were in the racing. Lately it's been rare to have a sunny day, and luckily it's been falling on a few shows.

I didn't get away much from my booth, but long enough to go catch up with a few friends from the ONDR club, a quick run through the vendors and show cars.

I caught some of the drag racing, but nowhere near what I would've liked.
I had to bail out at 4 pm, we had company coming over at 7 pm, I would have stayed for a couple more hours to watch some drags.

I got a lot of thumbs up, driving to and from the track, that's always great.
