I was told that you can't register a commerical vehicle as a passenger vehicle, like a daily driver? Anyone have experience with this? Comments? I'd love to get a 47-54 Chev COE in my garage, if it would fit past the door!
If you rod it it will be de rated to one ton unless you would be leaving the heavy springs bud wheels etc. Build tread on CR guy drop-ed FWD V8 into a international coe then welded a car trailer to the rear drop-ed it really low

thats a good ? splitter. never thought of that aspect about it. i have toyed with the idea, ramp truck, over the years when i replace one of my trucks at work. most times they are just cab and chassis as i put the reefer box on the new one. if you can't re classify into personal use it would be a pain. my 2000 f-350 has to be saftied every year cause it is in the co name. if it was personal registered just emissions. something that old wouldn't have emissions. i will snoop that aspect out. let you know what i hear.
a buddy of mine has an older coe at his place. pretty good shape. not sure of the make though. i will pm you his # and get in touch if you are interested. his word on anything is gold. very old school mechanic.
