Probably wouldn't leak any worse than most aftermarket sunroofs.......

I tried that and it leaked like crazy. I blame it on an ill fitting seal.

whats really sad is right now some guy is sending that link to an oldsmobile guy right now with the heading , Hey Frank , I found a link to a place with that trim piece you need for your cutlass ..77.

I used to have one of those cars, 1980 Olds Cutlass with a sunroof. I don't that method was used to install it though.
By the way that car looked mint compared to mine.
