I have only used their spray bomb version for an offroad bumper i built. It seems to work fine, if you do go the spray bomb route, spray it on thin as it will run, so plan on alot of coats to get desired thickness you want.

I used it, but I painted the whole underneath of my box with it. I would not use it in the box itself because it won't hold up.

If you want to apply your own "spray in" box liner, then use a 2-part system and shoot it with a "Shutz" gun. I sprayed the inside of my fenders on my street rod with it, and it's bullet proof. I was even able to tint the product so that it was the color of my car. I unfortunately can't remember the name of the product, but there's lots of manufacturers that make it. Make sure it's urethane based, and is 2-part (i.e. uses a catalyst/hardener). With enough coats, you can probably build this stuff to 1/8 of an inch thick, but would use a lot of product. I sprayed 3 coats and got around a .040" build up.

Here's a before and after picture of the 2-part product I sprayed inside some fenders I made for my teardrop trailer.
The red is the actual product tinted, and was not painted afterwards.
