Most never fit right from the factory. I think you would have better luck finding some one to date a fat girl in a wedding dress.Something like this might help
day late an a dollar short , do you know where painswick welding is ?? go one or two lines south of maple view on huronia road turn right , go about a half mile an come into a clump of houses , big shop on left , ask for Dave , tell him Doug the AMC guy sent you . very cool guy , and has a real touch for setting body lines an gaps , and I also have another guy Don down in the old part of big bay point down by the lake , very cool guy also ..77.

Thanks 77. Barry the guy that did my body and paint came by last night for the doors and is coming back for the hood and fenders. He did an amazing job painting my car, I won't say how long it took but well worth the wait. If I need someone in the future at least I know there's a couple guys still left that can do this kind of work. Its been a nightmare trying to find local guys to do work, I had a guy in Harriston do all the fab work, Rob Purcell, and Barry Bolton, did the body and paint and he's an hour or more away!
we,re in the same town we should check each others stuff out sometime , and just for kicks me an a buddy had a straight axle 55- 56 Ford , but just for a summer though , way back late 80,s ha ha . I also have a straight axle gasser project on going too ..77.

nope not me , but Jim ?? in ONDRA has a blue straight axle 55 or 56 wirth a modded 4oh9 in it . pretty nice machine . If I was gonna build a 55 itd be like 2 lane black top , but pick the wheels up on launches . I,ll send u a thing a bit later right now I,m lost in yard work ha ha ..77.

I'm installing door panels and my window vents. Enjoy the yard work! And the blue 55 your talking about I have seen it, real nice machine! I've also seen it at Grand Bend.
