Hello Just wondering where to get a good disk brake conversions kit for my 56 nomad, also want to upgrade to power steering just not sure which way to go yet.
Any good Canadian retailers to deal with instead of buying in the US. Shipping and customs fees are getting to crazy.
Hey 77, he is from Midland. I was thinking of Candy's as well.
Hey Rick, Go up into List Users and look for Candy-Man. Check out his profile. Under topics started, you will see a topic that deals with brokerage and customs and what Candy offers. Candy's Hot Rod Supply is Canada's Speedway Dealer.

I got the caliper mounting brackets (front end only on mine and used stock spindles) from Bay Ridges Classic Chevy in Little Britain (near Lindsay). The rotors, bearings, seals, calipers, pads & hoses from NAPA but could use any automotive jobber for these.
In the Oshawa area, no one will beat Pro Street Performance for prices. There's a Karbelt and a Performance improvements there too, but they are out to lunch on their prices. Another great place to deal with is Grisdale out near London (I think). Talk to Thatcher and he can supply you with anything. Quick shipping too !!
Neil at Candy's in Kingston is the most standup honest guy you are ever going to encounter for parts. He is fair and a great fellow to boot, how can you go wrong with this combo I ask? Chris.
