After watching this video , (which was Great!!),,, i kinda think this is an "Old School" procedure. The tire science since that has at least quadrupled in quality and reliability, and i'm sure Tires from "Hoosier" or "Goodyear" or Mickey Thompson" or "Pheonix" , are not recapped onto standard casings.
