Since the planned meeting for the Ontario rodders meeting at Syracuse was a washout (literally), how about we plan something for the Oshawa show? I know a few members are not going because they find the admission expensive, but i'm sure there will be a good turn out if the weather co-operates.
Yes Dan if i'm here and not gone to work,I would like to catch up with a few here on the site and now that we have your mug shot you will be hard to miss

I will NOT be wearing the same shirt though !! LOL
I'm planning on going, at least for one of the days. What...no GPS coordinates for the meet. I'm even tempted to drive the '71 Duster 340, now that I have my brake issue sorted out.

Come on Dan,, it would look good on you. Is it something like this one? Looks like a real hip hugger.

I always try and park in the same spot (43.862368,-78.831132) so we could make that the meeting spot. It will be easy to find too because I can guarantee that there will be only one red 2-door 28 Dodge there.
I'd go if they would have a Sun. only price!!! Being on a 'fixed' income & no pension!!! $10 avg. car show price is my limit!!!!! Have fun Guys!!!!
I hear what you're saying, but for the extra $25 you get a shirt and very good odds of winning an engine, transmission, and a bunch of other great stuff. Much better than buying 5 scratch tickets IMO
I will try my hardest to get there as I have never made it out to autofest.
I don't have a rod to bring of my own, but a few customers insist I bring one of their cars to show. I am still undecided about that but will probably go to spectate and meet and greet with people.

I will be there all weekend. Turns out we are the "Featured" club this year and get special parking....right on the asphalt (we think). Hopefully they will find us some trees!

Dan is Saturday any good I have never been on Saturday will be going on Sunday should be down town on Friday night.
I think both days are about the same, unlike Syracuse where everyone usually leaves Sunday morning. If I had to pick the best day to go, I would pick Saturday.
I would like to mention that FYN RYD Customs will be getting a booth to showcase our shop and meet people.
We will be giving away prizes so come check us out and see what we are all about.
There will be a raffle, as well as great music.......... If we're allowed.
Hope to see everyone there.
Ryan Dee.

I have been to every Autofest since the start. A year and a half ago we sold both of our '69 Chevelles and bought a low mileage 2005 Corvette. Needed something with old time power. Last year was the year of the Corvette so I thought great. One problem. To get in I had to spend $90+ to join a Corvette club. No thanks. I've never been a club person and really wouldn't fit in too well with a lot of the crowd that gravitate to Corvette clubs. Fortunately, I got to drive a friend's 1968 Californial Special Mustang to the show. This year??????? It is an excellent show and under the trees makes it extra nice even on hot days.
gee whiz hemi sorry i didnt make it, i have numerous obligations that tend to cut into the time i have to build my truck. how can i make it up to you? how about i drive straight to your house the day i get it on the road?

Lol, I met two guys from Ontario rodders while I was there, lightspeed mike and hemi 43, both great guys and I am happy I made it to autofest.
I will ask if anyone else noticed our booth? We were the one with the yellow 72 chevelle, and blue 55 Chevy pickup.
