Yes, we moved to the new Library at the west end of Bradford, across the street (Hwy 88) from Canadian Tire. There is one entrance for west bound traffic as soon as you pass the High School. The next entrance for both east and west bound traffic is at the traffic light for CTC or Tim's, but opposite side of road.We are using parking lot on east side of Library.
See you there,

The 20th Back Alley Cruisers Pre-Snow Car Show & Food Drive is coming up fast. Sunday October 6th, 2013.

The admission price is right; FREE! And! If you find this is not the most enjoyable show you have EVER attended we will CHEERFULLY refund that admission. We would appreciate donations to the Food Bank. If NON-perishables please be careful with the expiry dates. If Time has expired the Food Bank CANNOT give the products out. Straight to the garbage. However should you decide to donate cash, currently there is no expiry date on cash, so that should not be a problem. Choice is yours.

The show is being held at the Georgian Bay Steam Show Grounds, 4635 Victoria St. West, Cookstown. That's South and West of the intersection of Hwy 89 & Hwy 27. Watch for signs.
Gate is open by 9:37am and the big boot is wielded about 4pm.

VALVE COVER Racing don't forget yours. Games, Bake sale, Bench Racing AND Bull Shi**ing! no shortage of either.
"I've always been sort of an amateur Bull Shi**er myself but occasionally I enjoy stepping aside and listening to a real Professional." As you walk around the park listen closely and you might hear " Ya, my buddy has a 57 Chevy just like this one except it's 69 Road Runner with Fuel Injection and 2- 4 barrels!" Kinda gets ya right here, don't it?

There is probably stuff to win. There will be a silent auction of ALL Kinds of Stuff to bid on. The members running the Silent Auction will be pleased to explain how it works.
Photo Opportunities! Places to leave $$$. What a day

Remember it will be October 6th. Could be warm, might be cool, maybe even wet. Bring your own Umbrella if needed. You have been warned. Rain Date Sunday October 6th, same hours of operation.

That's all for now. See you there.

"been talking to some folks about going to our show and have some mixed ideas. Some wanna wash and wax others don't wanna wash off the bugs. Kinda like "badges of journey" so here's a thought. Just wash the bugs. Make 'em shiny.

Remember, there is no rain date. We will be there, short of a Hurricane or Tornado. The Food Bank needs our help. Soooo if the weather is less than perfect bring the mini-van. we have parking for them too.

By the way, we know Punkin' Fest is the same weekend. Play your cards right and you could end the season with a Double Headers. Many folks do.

We have wrangled up some Live Entertainment. I think it's Slim Chance and Dick Shrivels from Coldwater. They do a Rollin' Stones thing with "I used to kiss her on the lips, but it's all over now". That might change.

There is an EXCELLENT breakfast place on Hwy 27 just north of Hwy 89. It's called Stax pancake house. It will be busy, but the food is GREAT.

Right now the weather guy predicts a good day for our show so I hope you 'bin saving yer $$$ for the Big day.
The show is at The Georgian Bay Steam Show Grounds, 4635 Victoria St. West in Cookstown, which is SW of Hwy 89 & Hwy 27. Admission is free but we are looking for donations for the Food Bank. cash or Non-perishable Food items.

There is some Genuine stuff there. I found out there are some trophies, custom made by some of our members. There are eats, coffee etc and a silent auction thing. The members there will be HAPPY to explain how that works. Some games, VALVE COVER RACING, and of course Championship Bench Racing that can be heard throughout the park. I have always been sort of an amateur B*ll Sh*tt*r but every now and again I like to step aside and let a real Pro speak.
Wear your club affiliation jackets/shirts/hats.
I'll be there somewhere signing autographs and posing for pictures.
See ya!

It looks like the weather outlook for Sunday is not the best it could be, but we will be there. The Food Bank needs us.

Then a gain we get 25 cars to Cruise Night in the pouring rain. It's a Back Alley Thing.
Get to Hwy 89 & Hwy 27, in Cookstown, and follow the signs.
The coffee will be on and the tents up. If the forecast does not get better bring an umbrella.

Remember keep your roadster travelling faster than 25 kph (15mph) and the rain goes right over the car. Stop and the rain will find you. Lotsa room for minivans & SUV's. Don't think we have a trophy for Best Minivan, but maybe.
See you there.
Canadian money taken at par.

Well folks we had our Food Drive Car Show in Cookstown today. The weather was not optimum but we pulled it off.
Raised a pretty good chunk of change and a pile of food for the Food Bank. If you did not make it today, it was wet but those that did attend had a good time. We had several games and lotsa participants. Lotsa excellent stuff in the Silent Auction. Cases of oil, car battery, blue tooth stuff, tools, and much more.

We don't have a rain date for this show because of the arrangements for toilets, the park, entertainment and advertising. Plus the biggest factor is the Food Bank needs the donations.

Our Show is ALWAYS the Sunday a week before Thanksgiving. The food and cash are to the Food Bank in time to give people a meal for Thanksgiving. In 2014 it will be Sunday October 5th.

We have been hosting this event at The Georgian Bay Steam Show grounds in Cookstown. Today we were asked to host the car show portion of 2014 Georgian Bay Steam Show. That's Aug 1st holiday weekend (Simcoe Day). Plan now to join us. We will try to show you a good time.

More details as they become available.
