End of season BBQ
Permalink

I am hosting an end of season BBQ at my place Sept 14. I thought it would a great time to get some of Ontario rodders together for a real meet and greet.

Last year I built a smoker and am planning on putting a pork shoulder on it to make pulled pork sandwiches. We will have coolers and ice to keep your beverages cold.

The BBQ will be served around 5:00pm as piggy will need to cook all day. You are welcome to show up any time. I have space to park campers if you choose not to drive home that night.

Rain date will be Sunday 15 as I don't want to cook in the rain and I don't know how many rodders want to drive their rods in the rain.

Please RVSP for directions and confirmation.

 PM me for directions.

To all of you who are thinking of coming to my BBQ, there is a car show at Loyalist College the same day. It runs from 10 to 2. The automotive, machine and welding shops are usually open for viewing. The culinary class usually has some thing cooking too. Last year they had close to 200 cars.
Your welcome to come over any time after the show is over. Just bring a chair and your favorite beverage.
PM me for directions.

Looking forward to it !! I guess the plan is to meet at the car show (where ever that is) and cruise over to Mike's afterwards. Hopefully Sacotu will lead the way. I may need Windex when I get there though, to clean the oil and chewing tobaco off my windshield.

I am glad to here everyone who came had a good time. I guess my cooking was up to par as everyone seemed to go for seconds.
Thanks again to shag for supplying the pork shoulder for me to smoke.
Tina also enjoyed hosting the get together and has even given her approval for us to host another one next year.
