Whats my 2003 Buick Century worth as scrap?

Just blew the head gasket, exhaust is crapped out, transmission has "Hot Hesitation" issues, rusted rockers, interior lights starting to fail and it has 240000Klm! New battery, ventilation fan, oil and filter!

Can I use CAA to tow it to the wreckers?

Is there a better way to recoup some more $$$?

Some ware around 180/ton so 300 bucks might get more from a recycler . maybe. 03 and 05 century parts should interchange so it might be worth grabing the parts you have replaced because the same ones will go on the new car. track width is right you could clip it and change your A D to front wheel drive no Or paint hydrogen test vehicle on the side and just keep driving it. smile

drive it in at our local wreckers and you should somewhere around $300. as has been mentioned if parts interchange between the two id be stripping the scrap car. tires, wheels, alt, headlights, fuel pump, computer, wiper motor etc etc could save you a lot of money down the road.
