I picked up this little guy recently. looks like about 1930 or 40s. It's a Walker 126, one ton.

I've got one similar to that, no dates on it. Gemco company stamped on it. Those babies are dangerous at best.

I'd hate being stuck with  a flat tire, on the shoulder using one of these contraptions.

I tried researching these jacks, it's the only one I've ever seen like it. I stumbled on these while researching, www.urbanremainschicago.com/shop/miscellany/old-service-station-artifacts/matching-set-of-original-early-20th-century-functional-cast-iron-reliable-freestanding-automotive-one-stroke-tire-jacks-with-nicely-aged-patina.html.

They were called "One Stroke", approx. vintage,1910-1920.

My Dad had an old railroad jack years ago. He found in the barn at the old homestead. It was neat because the body was aluminum, all the other I have seen were cast iron.
Unfortunately he got rid of it when they sold there other house or I would have grabbed it.
