 Picked up 4 old Cayuga pictures this aft from Fastchevy.

One of Doug Brinjaks "HIPPY HEMI" Leaving with the left front in the air.

Another of Rudy Helds "GOLD GAMBLER Opel in the pits during maintanence.

Two unknown Dragsters.

First is Hemi powered "THE CANADIAN CONTENDER" (only lettering on it.

Second is "THE LEEELIMINATORS" (the Lee part is spelt with three "E"s together.

Anyone able to identify the two dragsters?

(I'll try to get someone to scan them to post here.)

Ok, have discovered the "CANADIAN CONTENDER" dragster was Lloyd Noxell, sponsered it appears by Corey Automotive.

Any one else know the LEEEliminators dragster?

           Lloyd Noxell  had a used car lot in Aylmer a few years back and before that worked for Mike Hutchinson (Hutchinson Motors). He passed away a while back.

Thanks John,, The other dragster , by googling that name LEEELMINATORS, there appears to be a connection with Don Garlits.

Anyone know?

This stuff is really interesting.Ray,I hope you are writeing this all down because it sure sounds like a book to me."From Backyard specials to the The Big Boys " the history of dragraceing in Ontario.I would definatly buy a copy. Ed
