here we go..I didn't feel like typing last night or today,or ever,lol..,its a 283 that was taken out running.the stock appearing 283 heads look to have been worked on,as the springs look new.the intake was removed before I bought it. lifter valley is clean.the motor has been in storage for 7 years,at least.personally,I was going to take it apart, and inspect it. I know the guy I got it from is a straight shooter,but it only takes a couple hours to inspect it and some gaskets to be reassured right. I don't know what a reasonable asking price is, so shoot me a number, but be nice,lol.
