One of the owner/employees of the company I work for is a big car collector. He has 10 mostly numbers matching big block Chevelles. He is always buying NOS parts and other cars he likes. On Wednesday he came in the shop and said he bought (2) 65 Biscayne 2 doors in another city close to us. I asked if one was white and the other one a mint green color. He said yes ! He bought them from a man who passed away 6 years ago. I sold it to him 21 years ago ! I described it perfect and my brother and I went to his house yesterday to see for sure. When he opened up one of our shop trailers, THERE IT WAS ! It has virtually been untouched from the day I sold it to him. He bought them both to use the best parts from both but it sounds like he is going to build the white one. My brother always loved the car and is first in line to buy it ! I gave him my old pictures to scan because he was as surprised as I was to see that it is basically in the same shape. This is one pic I had right after I bought it in 1989. The 350/Super T10 that was in it, is in my 55 right now ! I am excited and hope it comes back to the family !
I ended up putting 15 x 8 rallyes on the back when I ran the car. Ironically, my brother bought them from me this summer for his 75 Nova and he has them on it now ! Hopefully we will find out soon.
Great story, and hey, if he builds one out of the pair and decides to keep it, the cast off car and second rate parts would be available very cheap to build a replica!

back around 2005 i was dropping a guy off at home,on his street there was a 65 , buddy said car hasnt moved in years , so stopped to have a look , up is the ass ,rusted mags, 4 sd , fender logos said 427... stopped several times , tried to buy , 2 weeks later it was gone,,,,white 2 dr post car , red bench interior ... i was pi$$ed
There is a 65 wagon in Prembroke ON that we stopped in and the fellow said it was his fathers old car and was to be restored. I found out they had bought it only a few years before??????????
