I picked up a 56 Lincoln Premiere project earlier this year, unfortunately most of the glass was busted out of it. I managed to get the rear window and a couple quarter windows but I'm still looking for a windshield.
Father had a '56 Premier Continental . Bought it from the wife of the president of Ford Canada. Had it for a couple of years until the tranny went out. He sold it for more than what he had originally paid for it. Every cop between Barrie and Sudbury knew the car, but could never catch him!

Hey Thanks Ziggy, If I have to go that route for glass I will but I'll hold off for used till I get real desperate.
Sorry I should have been more specific I'm looking for 56 taillights. I can get repop's for them them too but I'd rather go used. I've been watching that 57 on Ebay get chopped up (IMO it should have been saved) anyway the thrill is in the hunt.
Have a good friend I've been working with who will have sold his 57 Lincoln ,probably driving by your doorstep in the next week or so. You may know Martin Fontaine from Quebec? He owns a chopped flat black Hudson and a Model A sedan? He's buying the 57 I'm speaking of..Mild kustom as well, lowered and scalloped.
Gary, there is a Lincoln Capri in the scrap yard that Slab and I visited. It has a windshield,a complete car.I can PM you the owners phone number if you like, and help set up a visit. St Williams Ontario is were it is located.

I didn't know the name but I think I met the kat with the cars at the Rumble in Rigaud I Googled and I know the chopped A was there. Man I find 57's look like they were kustomized right out the gate. Love it man, thanks for sharing.
