Very good.
I wonder how old Oddy is. He raced at Niagara 50 years ago.

Jarvis asked "How old is Jim Oddy"?
Not sure, but checking up on here in an interview he started racing in 1959, after doing a bunch of engine and chassis building.
So, i'm just guessing he has to be going on to 80 possibly?
He has twin boys born in 77, who worked for him, but it appears that he sold the shop and retired in 2007.
The Famous 48 Austin he built in 66 after winning the 65 nationals in a homebuilt B/G anglia, then went match racing with K. S. Pitman, Stone-Woods and Cook, Jr Thompson, and Ohio Geo., Montgomery.
The guy had an impecable reputation for Quality engine building, a straight shooter, and his finess at running low ET, and fastest MPH.

Those pictures are all recent /this year . Oddy and John run a AA/gas series .The Series is Sponsered by Summit . Oddys driver is JR Ward . He owns New London dragway in Virginia ,Where most of these pics where taken.
The group races Once a month at different tracks, Norwalk ,New London, Lancaster ,Beaver Springs etc. Really good Heads up series ,Cars run low 5's in the 1/8 . The series is only a couple years old but its growing .I was at the race in New London this spring Helping my good Friend Johnny Rocca with the Stone ,Woods and Cook car. Fans love AA/GAS :)

Oddy's car won 5 of the 7 races .This year last race they went 4.82 -200' air . Always one to Run the rules in the grey area lol. He's got a set of Stantuff shocks in the back out of The ADRL Promod he was tuning .Painted the shocks grey so not to attract attention lol.He can get down any track they race on :)
