Thanks Harry, interesting stuff. Man, how times have changed!!

Seeing these old videos/movies, i always wondered what the PURPOSE of the roll bar was for,,, when in the open cars, the drivers head was higher than the roll bar!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol

Yeah,, and a "State Trooper" handing out the trophys??? Race must have been road safety related with the cops helping out.
I'm betting some of that old vintage speed equipment is still around.
