DaveM and I were discussing the possibility of attending Sema again next year, and thought it might be a whole lot more fun with a large Ontario Rodders crowd. It will be held at the Las Vegas convention center Nov 4 to Nov 7 2014. If you've never been, this may be your opportunity to cross something off your bucket list.
You have a couple months to think about it, but from past experience, prices go up as time goes on.
I might just have to attend. I never could before, as it was only open to dealers, etc...and three days in Vegas might just be enough to...........see all the nice new products available!
Where do I sign up?

Technically it still is, but I have attended 3 times and have a number to get anyone in under my business name, so no worries about getting tickets. We usually go for 5 days. 3 at SEMA and 2 to check out Vegas.
I is so poor, I'll just wait to see it in a cataloge....and dream about a day when I can afford new stuff! Until then, it's swap meets, Kijiji and Ontario Rodder Classifieds for me.

I'll have to check to see if my pic is still posted at Vegas airport for no entry from a girls trip 4 yrs ago. That airport security had no sense of humour and don't mess around.
But I haven't seen our pictures on Merica's most wanted....... So it might be ok
Although, they have signs posted everywhere in that airport that say's " no laughing, boisterous or rowdy behavior will be tolerated!!! This is a serious event ect.
Now anybody that has been to Vegas for anymore then 2 day,s (group of women were there for 5 days) know's you don't sleep and alcohol is a free pour.
Please, most cant even stand up straight by the time they get to the airport.
But all 5 of us had our passports and we knew who we were.... and where we were going!
I thought that was pretty darn good for a bunch of rednecks from the north.
Sober or not, if you post a sign telling me I can't laugh or joke around.......Its almost like I can,t help myself.
It's Vegas, and I'm sure you're not the only one that's been boisterous in that airport. I don't think they'll remember you !! LOL
Vegas IS a great place to go, especially so with a crowd.
If anyone is planning on attending, tickets for the show will be available at the beginning of April. Hotels will go fast, so try and book as soon as possible. If you wait till the middle of April, everything will be booked. I'm hoping to book this week at the Mirage. Most major hotels will offer free shuttle to and from the show.
Just booked with Air Canada. Direct flight both ways, staying at the Mirage Sunday to Saturday, $ 2506 plus $100 for luggage. This is the price for 2 people. I can't remember what SEMA tickets cost, but I seem to recall it was around $30. Tickets for SEMA go on sale the beginning of May.

We went a few years ago. It was money well spent. We go to Columbus on a regular basis and other large shows around but nothing else comes close to SEMA.If you can make it go, you will not be disappointed. The show outside is worth seeing. It takes days to see it all. This is worthy of being at the top of the must do list. If you go, get there when it opens, the days are long and lots of walking.
JUST MY OPINION
