just so you know hemi43 does have plenty of road wounds in the form of stone chips ...... dont believe me take a look at the front of his car trailer
Only Chevy owners need car trailers.
7 years later and 22000 miles it's never been on a trailer. Americans must like stone chips because I have plenty and it's still getting picked at Syracuse.

Polaris from the late 80s had the bad reputation of being piston popper ............I had an indy trail fan cool that pop..bang ............. and and indy 650 triple with blown pistons

Polaris triples and everyone else's triple sucked. Indy trail, or Indy 500s use Fuji 488 engines were an excellent design. Like anything else, if they are not properly maintained they will break. I have a friend that owns a Polaris dealer and carries used parts as well, so it's a no-brainer that I would want a Polaris.
Yup, Hemi Dan's Mopar was in my driveway a couple weeks back too.. It gets around just fine,of coarse this trip it was drafting my big Ford....
Not a Mopar guy but it's a really nice ride all around.

Do you have a max $ in mind? One of my good friends just picked up a new one, the old sled will be up for sale soon, I think it's an '06, I don't know much about it, aside from it didn't get used much. He always buys Polaris, he gets a new one every 5-6 years.
I'll try and get a hold of him, he just left for Mexico this morning.
And enough idle chat, this is the "WANTED" forum right?
No wonder I wont post looking for any parts sheesh
There's an off topic section to pick on the dodge owner's
Hey !! It's my classified post, and I enjoy the idle chat.
In fact, idle chat should be encouraged in the classified sections, because that's what sets us apart from all the other crap forums. IMO, if anyones doesn't like a bit of humour when listing something for sale, then they could always post it on the HAMB or Canadian Rodder.

Gazoo....you got any Dodge crap......er.......... collectables you can lend me to make Dan feel at home?????
Im feeling dizzy......I could fain..................................
You'd need to put up an addition to put all the Dodge crap I can lend you, LOL. But you won't need it anyway, Hemi's only interested in where the beer fridge is.
Maybe put a Mopar sticker on the fridge, you can always peel it off later, and then ask your neighbour for forgiveness.
Chances are, he won't even notice the Chevy stuff!

Here are some pictures of the sled that I have. After reading all the post above, rest assured this was fixed last spring before it was put away. LOL. This it the last of my 500 indy's that I have had. So it comes with all my left over parts there is a spare block, cylinders, jack shaft, and other crap that you may need. I bought this sled after the guy put a new track on it, plus sliders, wheels and he had the motor rebuilt. I have had it for 5 years and the kids ran it here around the farm, one year we bought trail passes. The last two years I don't think it got more than one tank of fuel through it. It ran good last year, but I haven't started yet this year but it will run fine. I have sent you a PM with more information and more pictures.
If it was the one I suggested I'll check my mailbox for the finders fee...I'm sure its on its way
Yeah , it was the one you told me about !! Problem is that I spent your finders fee of fuel. Almost 1000 k round trip !! Ouch !! Next time find me something closer.
If we end up meeting at Grumps Xmas party, I'll give you a couple of his beers.

I think Simcoe was a lot closer then driving 1000km and you would of got spare parts and had a look at my Chevy stuff. Maybe that is why you didn't come,LOL
