Just thought I'd share this since you all like the story behind my 265 build. Here are some pictures of my parents. The first pic is around 1963-64 before my dad went into the Air Force. His 55 was running a dual quad, all hand ported, built 292 Chevy with a 4 speed and 4:10 gears, a low 14 second car in it's day. But the car in the picture is the car the 265 came out of. The second pic I had them pose for in September of this year. They aren't the same car but the title and alt of parts are from the car in the first pic. So, I guess you can kinda call it a "numbers matching car" when the 265 goes in it ! But I know, not really. Plus, no 55 or 56 had the VIN in the engine stamp code but so what, it will still be fun !
