Looking for spot weld cutters
Permalink

I'm looking for the style of cutter shown in the photo. I have the "Blair" style but these guys do a WAY nicer job. Unfortunately they do wear out. I got this set at a swapmeet in the states and have never seen them in Ontario but that's not to say they're not available here somewhere - hopefully. Hopefully available individually since the only one worth using is the 3/8".

Thanks,

i bought the ones i am using on the camaro off ebay, cobalt, 3/8, 3 of them for about 30 bucks.  make sure you buy cobalt ones as anything less wont last, welds are pretty hard and have varying levels of hardness throughout the spot, i used up two of the three i bought on the camaro, and thats removing alot of welds

Agreed. The ones I have are titanium coated China stuff. Junk after about 100 welds. Can't complain considering the cost but I need one that's not going to die with two welds to go!

I went to the Eastwood site and they have what I'm after. Would have been nice to go to some local autobody supply and be able to buy them today though!

Thanks,
