Just found this posting on another site.

Any here who have been involved in racing wil reconize the name.

Stuart Hilborn, pioneer in fuel injection, passed away at age 96.    He must have enjoyed a long full life into his R&D improving induction systems.

What a innovator and a guy that lived his dream and passion. He was a outside the box guy and engineered some trick stuff.
Most of us would love to leave a legacy like him.
If there is a after life ,hope there is a drag strip so stuart can do some redline power shifts.RIP..

Sad news for sure . I ve used Hilborn injection units for along time . Stuart was active in the business right up till this year. He went to work at the shop every day and played golf once a week. I bought a 3 piece BBC injector off of him last year . On the center valley plate .I had Stuart autograph it for me and date it . It meant a lot to me . His penmanship was impeccable. Not just scribbled down. I ended up buying another center plate and putting that one on the wall in the shop. I know he Lived a long life but I will Miss him .Rip Mr Hilborn . He is Canadian btw .born in Alberta
