RE Chevy 6 way power seats wiring

  Has anyone had problems with  wiring the drivers seat  from a chevy  pick up (2005)  . Have power in to the unit under the seat and out of it but motors will not move . Have power at the control switches . Hooked up passengers side orange wire power and black ground  and it works fine ??

Without a diagram its hard to say but it seems like a ground issue 05 would have air bag sensors and wiring for heated seats that had controls else ware. the driver side also had two driver positions controlled by key less entry fob or a button on the door  That to I would expect it to be tied back to some  module.

The driver side is showing an additional connection on the ground (S 307) before terminating on the common G304 with the passenger side
