image.jpgimage.jpgNeed parts of a cutter sleigh to fix project wife wants. It's a old time sleigh to pull behind a horse.  Pics show what I brought home and what is left of it. I need damn near everything. If you got anything or have a leads on one or parts of one that would help a lot.

Maybe you could get intouch with the Pioneer Village in Keene. They have a barn full of that kind of thing and maybe would have parts or at least something to make patterns for what you need. Ed

johnny if you are bent on having one of them i have one in the drive shed. it was all complete and re-upholstered when i put it there 12yrs ago. it was my wifes and when she passed i put it away. she used it for some years. i haven't looked at it for some years now and i know it will need upholstery done again. not long after she passed there were a couple of people around asking about it and offering 500.00 but it wasn't time then.
-if you are wanting one let me know and i will dig it out. looking at yours has me curios now. it will be reasonable $$. are you planning on using it or just for decoration, doesn't matter just curios. let me know.

You cannot begin to make anything out of this one for what you can buy a good one for.. I bought a really nice original

one for a co-worker a month ago for a lot less than the cost of fixing.. May not be as nice as Ricks though...

The high cost is not the price of the sleigh, but the cost of feed for all the reindeer .

What the wife wants is just for display. I'm only looking to spend about $300-$350. I just bought a sleigh body for $40. Need upholstery but an easy fix. I think the wife want to put presents in it at Xmas and put it on the front lawn, then back in the shed. I would consider a complete unit just to save me time. Right now what I need is the frame in the second pic but in good shape or a complete unit. As you see from what I bought I will look at anything..

I sold one last month to a lady in Toronto ( young and Bloor)santa1.jpgfor $1500 delivered. It had 9 reindeer with it though. But the sleigh was the draw. It was an antique

Maybe you could split the cost with Janice. She would just want the whips.
