Could just be me but if I remember right the last few were kinda light on vendors . It may be a bit bigger since Tillsonberg hasn't happened in a year .

I've gone a few times, pretty small
If it's a really nice day, there will be outdoor vendors which makes it better

The last one wasn't very good-alot of diecast etc-they don't let you in till 9:30 am right on the dot-I saw everthing in less than an hour-Old Autos newspaper has all the info on swap meets as well.

Usually a waste of time, diecast toys and tin signs.

Just so you guys are aware...

The guy who runs these Woodstock and Kitchener indoor swapmeets is not a car guy nor affiliated with any club, he's in in just for the money. For the past few years he had been anxiously awaiting the end of the Tillsonburg swapmeets so he could start his own at approximately the same times and get those crowds. Problem is, his prices for spots are ridiculous when compared to vendor spaces at virtually every other swapmeet including the Toronto indoor meet!

Rumour has it he is now trying to muscle in on the April Woodstock swapmeet that is normally run by the Western Ontario Mopar Owners. How? By booking an event shortly before theirs. Because most of these facilities guaranty that they won't rent to a similar event within a specified timeframe he could potentially shut down the April event.

Now I have no problem with someone making a buck but we all know that the clubs who run these events depend on them for their survival as well as contribute to various charities. I'd hate to see this end.

So if this happens and he manages to put and end to the April meet I would urge all of you to boycott his events in the future. It only takes a couple bad turnouts to hit him in the pocketbook and he'll take his ball and go home.

actually I did,,,sold an old injection set up to a guy and met him in the parking lot...took more time to make the deal and count the cash than it did to go through the vendors
