judging by the background I doubt that car is in Dubai, look at the rust on it, cars in Dubai don't rust, almost no rain there.  pretty valuable car though, gull wing benzo as stated before still worth a fortune in that condition.

Seems to me to be a way nicer car than the one we started with twenty odd years ago ... I was a big part of a restoration of the 1954 New York worlds fair show car by Mercedes, lots of extra chrome etc on the one we did, quite an advanced ride for its age, tubular space frame all chrome moly , four wheel independant suspension, Bosch mechanical fuel injection, lots of aluminum panels...

There is a lad out here on the Island that restores gull wings. One sold for $4 million or more. His name is Rudy....sumthin'. German of course.

Not all gull wings are alloy body. Very few, in fact.

it could be dubai. any desert car will eventually rust out but the time frame is longer than any of us is going to live. the paint will eventually be all gone and when it does get any moisture, be it a rain once in x number of years or condensation, the paint will appear rusted. then the sand and the wind will eventually in many-many years beat the metal till it is paper thin and then gone.

- when i bought my coronet in so-cal some years ago a 69 super bee body came with all the tags, minus the right half of the front clip and no glass, that was a desert car. any bare exposed metal appeared rusted as heck but still solid. sold it to a guy in peterboro.

- this 67 bellvedere in the shop now was a desert car. anywhere the sand and wind beat the paint off appears rusted. another 50-60- years sitting there and it would be

Have you ever been to Dubai? Doesn't sound like it. I've been there a few times. There is plenty of that type of foliage. That's desert foliage man. Ever been to Arizona or Africa? Same deal.
Anyway, where it is, is not the point.
