yes that's him, he has ownerships registered in his name for hundreds of old cars and trucks. what you are after is pretty common, I imagine he has one
I was told by the OPP that only IBC has the power in Ontario to attach a VIN tag.
IBC Auto Theft personnel: Dan Bea**** confirmed that I could affix VIN plates to the car for theft ID purposes using the VIN issued for the vehicle.
I went to Mac's Antique Ford Parts and ordered 3 blank VIN plates, took them to a jeweller and had the VIN engraved and attached them to various areas of the car in the event of theft and parting.
I'm sure if you look hard enough, you will find a VIN number.
The Mac's part number
64-68530
VIN Number Plate - Blank
My appraiser and Lant also told me for insurance purposes, the VIN number must be stamped somewhere on the vehicle. That's why I went to Dan to clarify the legality of affixing your own plate.
Ok Im going to have to search the whole frame in nicer weather not -10 but as far as Iv seen these truck only came with them on the very front part of the driver frame rail on the outside.
