Before you post here, you should do an introduction in the intro section. You will get more responses that way.

I know someone that may have what you need. Will talk to him this afternoon and respond back after your intro. lol

save your travel "time and Money"  and buy a set from CTC or wallmart     any whitewalls you find will be cracked and rotten    Chevy rims are 15x6's off S10  or 77-89 Impalas

I have a brand new set of narrow whites on my Astros that came from Walmart in Trenton Pete. Didn't buy them because they were good, or cheap but because I knew they'd hold air till I had my long term project completed, nothing worse than dreaded flat tires every time you go to move a project.

We sure enjoy getting to know and welcome our new members. I think this is a pretty helpful cyber community DB and it is also nice to have some idea of who and what area the newbie you are dealing with is.
Makes it easier to offer the proper help/info .

Just clicking on his handle (sawdustxdiamonds) tells us his name (Joe Howell) and we can see he's from Ottawa.

I'm pretty sure that's enough information if someone is interested in selling him some wheels and tires.

Just finding it more than bizarre that a person who claims to live in "Hooterville Ontario" would be suggesting this new member might not find a seller unless he posts personal information that is not required by the site admin.

I stand by my comment of "Pretty sad if people actually don't bother to reply just because this poster hasn't filled out any personal information".

I have not done a proper introduction as I do not see it as being necessary nor is it required.  The internet already contains too much information on people in general.

I had my real name listed earlier today but changed it to Fred Flintstone and Bedrock for the simple reason that "Hooterville" appears to be accepted as a location and it is obviously ficticious so .. hmm

I personally do not see joining a chat room anywhere near the same as meeting someone face-to-face.  Who's to say half the people on this site have given their correct names and locations?

turns out the set of tires I got with the bel air I bought recently had thin white walls, the tires were just incredibly dirty and the white wall was covered. I looked all over for cheapo tires with thin white walls but I guess no ones really making them anymore? I could only find 13s on kijiji, no 14's.

also chris stapley, you wanna sell those astros(if theyre for a chevy)?

Nope. Wouldn't suit most cars anyway with the crazy offset on two of them. Probably wont even use em on my Dodge but as I said, they hold it up and roll really well right now...
They will one day be destined to go on an early sixties inspired rod maybe..
