Actually, not so much bites the dust...more like, completed, and ready to go out the door. This Merc is the latest vehicle that has been restored at the shop and is waiting for a ride home in a enclosed trailer. To nice to get all slopped up with the winter slush and all. The owners Greg and Tearza Sundby of Camlachie ON (just outside of Sarnia) are justifiably proud of the finished pickup. Greg was able to do a huge amount of the work on his own truck while it was at the Loxton and Company restoration shop. Loxton's is one of the few shops that allow, even encourage the owners to work along side of the hired help. I only got a couple of pictures before my camera went south on me. Should be able to get more at the first of the week. This one has been taken back to it's original condition. Wait till you see the interior, engine and underside of vehicle.

VERY NICE , Greg and his wife are members of my son,s Ontario Westcoast Chapter , of Classic Ford Truck Club , the members of Dean,s chapter are all anxious for this truck to appear at the meetings and of course our 4th annual Ford and Mercury Truck show and shine on June 8th 2014 , [ little plug there ] . Greg has been very patient on the build of this truck , certainly looks like it was worth it , first thing I noticed in pic ,s was the rear mirror accessory Greg purchased last year when we were out gathering sponsors in grand bend , way to go Greg and to all your helpers , looks real cool , Dent
Well...after the camera was deemed dead, I went out and bought a new one. Tried it out today, and took the rest of the pictures that I would have taken, if the camera could have stood the pace the first time. Hope this one has 4 bolt mains. I see I need to set the date and time, but that isn't really a big deal. We've been teasing Greg about being on the 'slippery slope of shiny.' Check out the 'tools' in the box. At any rate on with the rest of the pictures.
My 87 year old car collector friend has that same truck, almost identical, only difference is his is a bit darker green, and has wide whitewalls. It's restored, been in his garage for a number of years, i'll have to ask him when it was last driven.
