Shackleton's always has some great stuff at there auctions. I've been quite a few times, they send my flyers regularly for their upcoming auctions. Always has some great collectables.

68 BARRACUDA:  1968 Plymounth Barracuda Sox & Martin tribute car. 

This car is equipped with a 572 c.i. siamese bore Hemi engine, 727 Mancini race transmission,

4.56 Dana rear end with spool, Hooker race headers, 4″ ceramic coated exhaust, chrome Moly drive shaft, Sonny Bryant chrome moly crank, Oliver rods, fibreglass hood & fenders, aeromotive vacuum Evac system.  

Car produces approx. 750 hp. and approx. 800 ft. lbs. torque.    

The cars dash was signed by Ronnie Sox in 2005 at York PA. tribute event.

 Won first place in 2005 at “Mopar At The Red Barns” in Michigan at the Gilmore car museum.

 The car was also shown along side all the super stock cars at the Walter P. Chrysler Cema show in 2005.

 

 

 The car is being sold unreserved to the highest bidder on behalf of the Sheriff.

The auction is on the 13th, which is this coming Thursday. There is no mention of the car being sold, or for sale prior the auction.

the car I mention sold is the real 68 Cuda Sox Martin it sold at the Barett Jackson auction . The one you say will be at the auction on the 13th is a tribute car only not the real one

This was a personal item from Dempsey Chrysler in Aylmer.All holdings/assets are being sold by the sheriff.

 A 'repaired'siamesed bore 572 used crate hemi,

The place was PACKED!Had to park on the road,lot was full.

correction       ---------       sold for 44,000 plus 10% buyers and 13% hst

They sold a 2007 Malibu with 22,000 k on it for $11,000.00 !!!! Proof you can get more at an auction than you can on the internet.

 I was at an auction about 25 years ago in St. Thomas at the tracks south side of Talbot across from where Libro is now. Shackleton was the auctioneer on that one too. It was a large yard about 2 or 3 acres full of old cars. They took forever to sell each one. They would keep on working the crowd and they were only going up 25 or 50 cents at a time. You could by a car for a few dollars but you had to dig it out of the dirt.
