Great news John, and just think, we're on the downhill slide now, won't be real long till the track will be snow free, cleanup will have began, and things will be getting put into readiness!

Ray, I am spending the weekend at The Canadian Motorsports Expo in Toronto at the International Centre as part of a display of Hot Rods.
There sure is a lot of interest in ALL types of racing here and these guys are just waiting for dry pavement and dry dirt.

Yes John, the circle track guys will also be getting itchy to start once again diving into those corners and feel the torque pull them back out again as they fly down the straightaways!

How good was that Winternational coverage? Loved it! John Force just never quits. New funny car records.

Great to see drag racing after the weather we've been having.I'd be interested to hear what the Force team found to give them such a peformance advantage. Crewchief Jimmy Prock said weather conditions. Maybe but the conditions were the same for everyone and Force was running about 4 mph faster than his nearest competator.

Sounds like John Force is losing both Ford and Castrol as sponsors at years end.

Corporate money is tough. John Force will give any sponsor a good bang for their buck. I am sure he will have success in finding replacements.

Big hit for NHRA when long time sponsors of the NHRAs most sucessful and well know owner/drivers in all of motorsport says they can get better exposure elsewhere and not 1 but 2.

Didn't know about Force losing sponsorship??? I'm just longing to see pavement on my street & not snow covered road!!!No "drag strips within decent travel time here [north of Oshawa] & the stock car tracks are getting scarce too!!! Mosport [or what ever they call it noe] closed their oval & all talk of a Dragstrip was ended yrs. ago, Kawartha closed it stock car events, so that only leave Peterboro [Westgate] in reasonable driving time for a Sat. nite.

I think the blame falls 100% on the NHRA, they failed to mass market the product. When was the last national event televised live instead of a week later in the early afternoon on a weekday on a channel I don't get. The sponsors are right too move on, The screwin' their gettin' aint worth the screwin' their gettin'.
