Is it plugged in ? No , I'm not being a wise ass ....other day I couldn't find my car keys ...looked everywhere twice , jackets , pants , shelves , round and round for 20 minutes ...then cursing and swearing ( yeah that sure helps - not ) ....you guessed it , they were in the ignition .

Sorry can't help you. Couldn't even tell you where ours is in the house

I'll get my wife. She knows about those kinda things but she's a little busy

Washing floors and getting my beer right now. Maybe later after she makes me a snack

, washes the dishes and shovels the driveway she might have time to help you

Just sayin

I remember back a number of years ago, i was at the landfill and this guy brings in a washer that he claimed was from hell. He angrily fired it off his truck into the scrap metal pile.
I look at it after he leaves, and bolted to the bottom was a chunk of concrete, apparently they came new like that,, 'im sure Ed will know about this.
Chunk of concrete to stop some of the vibration. What "mickey-Mouse" set up!!

Counter balance they all Have this thats why they weigh a ton . strong and cheaper then steel.

thats why they have to be level .Front loaders the barrell hangs from springs  with shocks at the bottom rotating assemble is inside a two peace barrel with large chunks of concrete strapped to it. the hole thing is  suspended in the middle of the case. loose a spring or shock and it turns into a hammer mill . like in the above video.

There is a lot of problems the last few years with the front loaders vibrating badly .One thing to look for is if the machine is on an upper floor is it vibrating the whole room if it is the usual problem is the floor .These get up to such high spin speed they have to be on a solid floor. If yours is vibrating make sure its not strattling a floor joist. If it is get a thick sheet of plywood cut to fit the area and screw it to the floor to even out the weight. Check the shocks in the bottom and make sure the pump or trap is clear. If it is very noisie sometimes the cement counter ballances come loose and cause a banging noise.Other problems the machine may not be hitting full speed in which case your into the electronics . Ed

Does it start banging at the end of a spin cycle when it shuts off? If so, this could be the brake that is a wheel on the side of the drum that can stick and become excited, jumping up and down on the side of the drum.

Stupid question. biggrin.

Have you removed the bolt from the rear of the machine that stabilizes the drum during shipping?

I still have an old ringer washer for doing my coveralls, and the wringer works real good for chamois.

I did a bunch of research on the net. Checked a few things. Seem,s like all it was was the wires on the pressure switch had gotten shook loose. So I did a wash with all the covers off, wandered into the shop and something did,nt sound right. Came back to it and water was all over the floor. When I looked behind it the hot water hose had sprung a leak from rubbing on the wall for years. Back to the shop and dug out some brass and hose clamps, just like new again. I,ve put about 4 loads through it to make sure it does,nt screw up on the wife when I,m at work. I still think I should have put some rocks in the bathtub for her to do the laundry but she has a pretty good pitching arm.
