kev, "ive fixed a few in the past , ive got alot of time right now,,,"
with that in mind, i have a wheel on my 65 massey that could use a massage. i am not looking for period correct by any means. its not real bad and it is something that i don't think about until i use it and reading your thread i thought of it. i'll get a pic to you shortly if you would be interested in the repair. it will kill 2 birds with 1 stone. gives you something to do and saves me shopping. roughly what would the turn-around time be, biggest hole 2 to 3" and 3-4 cracks, some bigger than others. keep in mind the substantial shipping costs when pricing this. lol just asking.

took some pics this early am and they didn't turn out to good. the wheel is not as nice as i thought either but it might be reusable, maybe. it is on the highly optioned 1961 s/s-r/s-g/t-x/l model 65, making the wheel the highly optioned bakeolite black. lol

like i said not good pics. i don't know the process of fixing these things but don't be shy to tell me to look for another wheel if this is pooched. my guess would be about a 100.00 for a re-poped one.

You can probably get your share from McLeans wreckers near Rockwood. While technically closed, they still do a bit of business

They aren't in the phone book, PM me if interested

Hi,

I have to agree those are nice wheels for sure. Are these pics above wheels you have restored? The reason I ask is cause I have my eye on that one on the top that is a perfect match for my 57 Chevy truck. smile
