As I understand it, Rogers dropped Speed channel but didn't reduce the monthly cost to subscribers. Great way to do business. I still get Speed on Cogeco but there are few programs worth watching anymore. The odd Nascar race and Pass Time, a few others but that's about it.
The day before Speed went off the air I got a notice from Rogers of a rate hike for my package wtf. I now have more multi cultural, government and religious stations than English speaking entertainment stations. should I be upset?
Perhaps Fox will start showing more on their sports channels. I will miss some of the content but certainly not all. I agree with DaveyJ it has gone to crap and found myself watching it less and less each year. I am going to review my VIP package with Rogers and see what else was in that package. If it nothing of interest I will soon be getting rid of it.
