Every once in a while crappy tire will put those 20 pack masonry discs on sale and I'll buy a few packs, they work great for quick cuts or in my case all my cuts! I did a lot of fabbing this past week and I went through 10-12 of them. I hate running out of consumables when I'm thrashing!Uh,oh,..... I gotta go, I'll be back in ten minutes!
LMAO,...I use the same zip cutter wheels as you do on certain stuff,..ironically,..my beverage fridge is stocked with "Exactly" the same brands as your's is,..right down to the friggin' Mix,..haha.
If you are really using masonry discs for cutting metal, that may be why you are going through so many of them. Take a look a the label, Canadian Tire sells discs for masonry, cutting concrete type products and a second disc that looks identical except the label says "metal" on it.
Hope this helps.

First of all, I was talking about the discs, not beverages because that's a whole other ball game and you don't wanna go there!! Hey, Mancaver maybe that's the position he ended up when taking the photo!? The "metal cutting" THIN discs never go on sale and for the price and volume, you can't go wrong. I didn't find that much difference in longevity. As for the brand of beer, I'm slowing it down as I get older! It's all good!

On a normal week Ill use 5 to 10 . Anything the great big tire sells is far to thick for a zip and most are cupped toward the center had a few of the cup deals explode over the years and you end up picking wheel bits out of your face and arms. I pay a bit more and stick to walter or dewalt flat zips . you can still chip an edge but I've yet to have one explode. Glasses and face shield are industrial standard now any were.
dont expect a straight answer from the peanut gallery, or perv row if you will. i buy zip wheels off ebay in bulk, cost me about 75 cents each. look up keenstore on ebay, its a guy from toronto, free shipping as well. i use ALOT of zip cuts.
Yep, CNC plasma cutter is the way to go. Hardly use a zip disc anymore.
I needed to cut a 2" circle of 18 gauge stainless the other day. Said oh I don't feel like firing up the plasma cutter just for that. Why don't I just cut it out with a zip disc like most of my Ontario Rodder friends. By the time I was done it took 3X times longer and still didn't look as nice. I started to wonder how anyone builds anything with out one.

I see you and Grumps both have something in common !! Poor taste in beer !! LOL
I went to this party one time and when I arrived, there was a full size fridge full of Coors.....and at the end of the night there was a couple missing. No telling where they poured it after the first swig!
