Looking for a set of 67 F100 specific hood emblems that mount on the sides of the hood. I have 68 emblems right now but don't care for the look anymore.
Hopefully in good shape, but not concerned if the paint is missing.
you may want to check Special Interest Autos on speers road in oakville.ray or max may be able to give you lead on finding them if they dont have.I know they are trying to sell off business retiring.but they have been in business for a long long time mostly ford in early days.sad day when they are gone.in later years they had parts for many makes.good luck on your search
Thanks 54vicky, I called special interest auto, but 67 emblems are the only year they don't have! The woman on the phone gave me a few more places to check but no luck yet.
Thanks Shag, I appreciate the help. If you hear of anything let me know.
Everyone told me when I picked this truck up that it was a hard year to find parts for, and they definitely were not kidding.
that was probably Karen she is Rays wife I did not realize 67 would be that different.maybe try a picture may help to visualize.somebody on here may recognize and not being into 67 f100 may have or know of them.worth a shot you know the old saying a picture is worth a thousand words.I would google may find advertizement shots to copy for a picture to post another long shot but you never know.good luck with your search.
I hope this helps give people an idea what it looks like.not sure where the paint you mentioned should be on it.but they are as people said unique as 68 and up that I remember had amber lense incorporated in the emblem hope this helps
I hope with pics it will help in your quest be interesting to know if the red was the original colour I would have thought black as it would be compatible with any colour of body.another source in your search possibly post ad in old autos.if you subscribe I think you can run ad for free for I think 2 issues I am sure someone will confirm.they cover Canada and have U.S. subscribers possibly other countries.another one would be the H.A.M.B they have a world wide audience.I think with a wider search base you may find your emblems I would hope seeing as they were one year specific that always narrows your avenue of search.again good luck in your search
