I looked pretty close at that car, and all those little pieces are in fact copper held on with a billion rivets. It was very cool !!If I recall, the barrel was a real barrel. You should have been there Janice

You'll be happy to hear I had a beer for you !! Now that I think of it, I probably had a beer for almost every member !!
We were sitting around talking and I came out with " There's a three-peat, Women's hockey, men's hockey, and the Ridler." What are we going to do next year???
It was a really great time this year. No border problems, hardly a problem going down the road, and absolutely NO problem from those guys from the centre of the universe…you know who you are AND the best crew (E.L.T.A.) with whom I've been involved . We had some good belly laughs, told stories, talked to a bunch of old friends and new, ate well, drank well, and played with some women…what else could you ask for????

Well I do from time to time call him a real piece of work ......but not Art work lol Not the same thing.
Yep, Bob,
I did take the time to look at almost all the cars over the weekend. Some I walk by and keep going, others I meander for a bit, and some just take my breath away. I firmly believe that the car is the medium which brings good people together. Don't get me wrong, I love cars, always have, but for me, the people I meet through them is more important than anything
What a weekend!!! Whoooweeee did we have a blast. Once again, the ELTA made its mark in more ways than one. From all the cats that thrashed on their cars (Sherwood, Eric, Scot, Russ and the two Al's) and the fellas that lent a hand...the pals that stopped by and hung out...the gals...the cars...the laughs...it was HEAVEN man! And , yes, that little redhead had me smitten! Too bad she's married. All good clean fun though.
As said by The Cat, Rochie, Hemi...a greater bunch of guys couldn't be found anywhere. I'm proud to be associated with all of you.
I can't wait till next year.

Great People, Great Time, Great Show. Thanks to all the guys from the ELTA. I wouldn't have been there without the encouragement and support from you guys. This sure is the way to start the season, and I got to drive the car on bare pavement for the first time this year. I did have to drive over a snow bank to load it, but it was a lot of fun. Maybe the snow will be gone up here by June, ( I'm an optimist).
Back to the shop!!!!

Ya I know. I have said it as well, and I really do belive there are no rules in hotrodding, but if there were, one of them would be the rad has to be behind the front wheels or at least at the halfway mark. Just my personal like, but rods always seem bucktoothed if the rad is too far forward. Ed
