Sucks x2, no insurance, that hurts even more, wonder if the slimeballs new the car was in it or just grabbing the trailer,either way I'm thinking recovery is pretty slim....

This happened in Brockville a while back. A guy had his show car and trailer stolen from the hotel parking lot while on his way to Montreal. It really sucks.

The stripped car has been found east of Atlanta. What a gruesome sight, the front clip removed and looks like the 4 link etc. along with trunk floor and back quarters gone. They say engine and drive train likely split up for easy sale.
The trailer was found empty of course.
Somebody should catch these thieves and string them up by the balls.

My Uncle's race car trailer was stolen a few years ago outside his shop

Luckily the car was in the shop being repaired from the previous Saturday's racing

Trailer has never been recovered.

This happens every year at this time, car and trailer disappears. The guys just make it to easy for the thieves. Maybe a wheel lock, like the parking enforcement use, a "boot" I think they call it. Seems to me like tongue locks are way to easy to by-pass.

It's got to be dis-heartening, to see it's gone.

I have 3 visible cameras at my house. I won't say if any not visible.
Signs. A large dog a bat and other means of security.
I also know people. If I catch people I don't call police.

That was Troy Trepaniers car. Chocolate thunder, 37 Ford Roadster, was heading to a show in Montreal. Was parked overnight at the A&P parking lot right next to the Quality Inn, the truck/trailer was there at 6:30 am when the day shift staff at the hotel came in and saw it parked there, at 7am it's gone. Driver hired a private plane and flew the 401 towards Montreal, 416 towards Ottawa and all the 3 border crossing. All this happened within an hour- nothing. Don't think the car, truck or trailer has ever turned up.

Brutal find, but a least it has been found.
A great number of cars have been stolen over the years, hell not only cars but all kinds of heavy equipment also, i guess thieves have specialties, others must specialize in lumber, as lots of tractor trailer loads have disappeared , loads of dressed hardwood, plywood etc.
There is no end to what gets stolen.
