Seeing how that race car was cut up reminded me of one stolen many years ago, thieves can be Brutal!
Car- Brand new Nova, i think a 69 possibly. 350-High performance , 4 speed car, no miles at all.
Thieves had travelled around to the GM dealers. Finding the car they were looking for, they check it out, ask the salesman if they could try it out as they were going to buy one.
Now,,,, IF the salesman didn't go with them, they drove off the lot and went and got new keys cut for it.
Take it back to the lot and tell them they will check out a couple of others and let them know if this is the best deal.
A week or so later one morning the car is "GONE".
A week or so later a farmer finds this car down a back lane , the engine and trans have been cut out with torches, then engine and trans had been loaded into a pickup or?
Major damage done to this new car, hood , fenders, rad and rad support, motor mounts etc and damaged interior also.
