Must be spring. I spent part of the morning moving the trans cooler in the sr dragster so I can install the new tunnel ram / header set up for the MAY15 Picton Airfield race. Need a couple more fitting and then it is time to install the manifold header set up. I tucked these headers up into the car so they wont be dragging me down. Hungry for some more V8s. I wish there were a few 6 cyl rails or altered around. It would be more fun racing another six or several. The 8 cyl guys take it so hard when the ol slant six bites them . It takes all the fun out of it for me. I just wanna have fun, not tick them all off. don

Hey Don, good to see you will out for the armdrop again. I hope to be there too. If you think the V8 guys hate it when the 6 cyls beatem, you should hear what you get when a 4 banger gets them.

HI DON ( Voice from the past ) Definitely good to communicate with you -- I may be able to show up with another six , INLINE , It wouldn't be on the strip -- but I could at least park close ( Cheering section only ) -- Think that would count ?? -- LATER -- DON / fleet 51
Yes Mike I know you have turned a few heads too. Your deal always works well. Don't ever change. I like your style.
Don, Good to know you are still out and about. You have seen the car from the first when I snuck it up the road for the parade the first year. Well Picton if you haven't yet been is very special. Good car show, lots of racing and fun like no where else. For me the two races at Picton are all I need to have a full year of enjoyment. I hardly go anywhere else now.

Talking to Glen the other day and he tells me they are trying to do 4 races this year. The first one on May 17. Sorry we haven't talked lately, between being house bound with the weather, three weeks out in Edmonton and now Diane has broken her leg so I keep pretty busy around here. I'm doing up a pile of signs for the Armdrop for 49, 62 and 33 so there will be no complaints this year of people getting lost.
Remember guys, for the best day of racing, come to the Armdrop. Also, bring your significant other and have them chick out our fine wineries, a vibrant art community and tons of great food.
Talk to you soon Don.
See all you guys on the 17th.
If you missed Homer's breakfast, too bad, your loss.
Homer's Breakfast??????????
What's that?
Good to hear you,re out and about. Very sorry to hear about Diane's mishap. Give her our best. I am back in the shop right now. Gotta get this thing together and flogged!

Was beatin on it today. Painting the header/intake set up. Ordered the carb kits and power valves. Hope to start the final install by Wed. Also found a set of wrist pins for my spare engine. Needed an odd size to make it work.

That must be Don Dulmage with the Senior Dragster. I have his Ol' Reliable book. I have been toying with building a similar engine as his for my 3000lb Dart ;)
