I picked up a southern box, to replace the dented/rusted box on my Dakota.

Because it's a southern box, the paint is extremely faded, thru the clear coat, and it doesn't match the shinny cab.

Anyone can spray it for me? At a reasonable price. I've never spray painted myself, I was wanting to try, but this is not a starters canvas.

It's a truck bed and black, and you all know, black is not very forgiving.

I don't need a show quality paint.

 

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks OnRod!

Heh..Heh..that's what they all say..It's the time of year I have customers who want a little touch up and paint the front bumper and fix that little rust spot around the dog-leg..Nothing fancy just gonna keep another 6 months just a cheapy..quick sand and blow it in..Our spring mop and glow..But then they keep it ...

 

Hey Gazoo if you don't get anybody closer let me know .. I have no room right now but in a couple weeks when It warms up a bit so I can shuffle a some stuff , I am doing a 70 Ford truck for a customer from Fort Mcmurray AB right now and it's to cold and wet to put it out but I could probably do it in about 3 weeks..mid to end of may

I'm not looking for a "mop and glow", but I don't need it to be flawless/wet sanded to a mirror finish, etc... There's some hail dents on it, and I'm fine with them just getting painted over, this way it'll match the cab better, lol. It's a truck, my daily driver.

I just might take you up on that Chuk, the time frame works for me, it'll give me time to mount the box on the truck.
And I have a friend that will be moving just outside St Marys around that time.

The box would be easier to paint off the truck. That way you don't need to tape off the whole cab, wheels etc. Just sayin....

There's a small dent at the back of the cab, that will need to be addressed also. That's why I'll be putting the box on. Get it all done at once.
