I've installed most of the components ... evaporator, condenser, compressor, ducting and wiring ect on my 1954 Caddy and was looking have the refrigerant hoses made up and the system checked and charged up for the summer ...
I've done most of the grunt work ... since there really wasn't any stock kit to fit this car with the Cadillac 331 engine ... so I used the largest that would fit in ... the Gen!! Super System
I was going to go to 'Dana' who used to work in Bradford, as I have only heard good things about him and his work ...
Unfortunately ... it seems he has somewhat retired and moved to Prince Edward Country now ...
Making up the hoses, checking my work and charging up the system is far beyond my skill level though ...
Any opinions on choosing an installer to finish this 'Vintage Air' installation ?

Where ever you go, make sure you charge it with 134A. Don't get talked into using 12A in that system. I also have the same system, and has run perfect in the 7 years I've owned it.
Not sure about your area but in Niagara Falls our local NAPA dealer used to make up Power steering and A C hoses. We just had to supply the end pipes and the angles we wanted the hoses to run at. It was quite reasonable to.
Roland Rad & A-C - Newmarket - phone number & address - ON - Car Air Conditioning Equipment, Car Inspection, Car Repair & Service, Car Brakes Service, ...
I did go to Roland Rad to crimp up all the hose fittings for my system after I had made them all up ...
They did a Good Job ... in a matter of a few minutes ... very happy with that part of things ...
I just didn't want to let the car out of my sight or have anybody else drive it ...
I bought some of the necessary equipment and did the job myself ...
I'm not sure it's exactly as Vintage Air would of done it ... but I'm pretty happy ... I've seen ALOT worse ... and I have the equipment to maintain both my cars A/C now ... and help out a buddy in need ...
Its working GREAT ... and I'm looking forward to the Really HOT days to come ...
I better do some detailing under the hood ... now that all the dirty work is done ...

How much refrigerant did you use (LBS) and what was your low side pressure?
