I thought all Superbeetles had the curved glass in the windshield But I see now that this didn't happen till 73.... I guess this car would still have the McPherson strut front suspension though to deem it a superbeetle? Good looking car for the money by the way.

Just a FYI. Not sure if you know but if you have classic insurance (Haggerty, Crosslands, etc) on your '57 Chev pickup (or any other vehicle with classic insurance) they will not give you coverage to tow your house trailer. I had a Trillium and now have a 17' BigFoot that I wanted to tow with my 1965 Chev Pickup and the only way to get coverage is to put it on my daily driver policy with the late model truck. Have had numerous discussions with different carriers and none of them will look at it. Something to do with the camper as I am OK to tow a box trailer.....

congrats on the sale. just mark it as sold in the topic line. if i already didn't have a project on the go for the wife this would have been seriously considered. it can then be used as reference from now on.
