Here we go again, there are 2 "Waterdown swap meets  ,May 10 &11 and then again May 24 & 25

I want to vend to make room in the garage, anyone have an idea on which one I should vend at.

I don't usually vend but I've got to clear some stuff out, the garage is full

Not really into vending twice,

I wish these guys would settle whatever difference they have and have one big event

There is no dispute to end . the original two guys that ran it, one has past on the other has stepped back and now it is the next generation running the show . One kept the original name the other the date. If the weather is good you will get a good turn out on either date. I seen a guy sell out in the pouring rain last year, wasn't giving the stuff away but priced to move it . I've  enjoyed the two shows so far and both are 5 bucks for the weekend a good reason to get out. At least they didn't run both shows on the same day. I think its time for the rest of us to get on board here. One is clearly advertised as the Harold watson memorial and the other as Waterdown. There is also a HASC meet held at this location and a racer and rodder meet.  The waterdown show is also the same weekend as barrie where you can't park for 5 bucks little less drive your car in and enjoy the weekend.

Barrie, there are some good contacts there if you want to buy a t shirt or a kitchen sink, but on the upside I did find a very cool original 48 ford pickup but I refuse to buy anything substantial on the spot,it requires some thought met a good guy, made the deal a week later,,

considering how cold it is still, I think vending the later one makes more sense, I might vend it

I will be vending this weekend. Taking the enclosed trailer up on Fri afternoon and as well will vend at Barrie in June. Have been vending there for over 25 years and it still works for me. The facility is second to none and the crowds are always large. Must be when you have $15,000. 50/50 draws...and of course you will always find non automotive products there but thats what keeps the whole family interested in going there and a happy family is a happy life.

The later Rockton is May 24 and 25. Barrie spring is June 6 - 8. If you are referring to the Sept meet I don't thik they will conflict as Waterdown tried a one day meet on the Barrie fall weekend and it did not go over at all. Mind you the weather was bad but last year they didn't have a fall Waterdown, only the Watson Memorial meet in Sept but that can change at any time..lol

Thats what I get for not reading all the words.smile. Seen barrie but its for Formula North. I think Hayne must have a hand in it because its only 40 bucks to show your car in the show.

For those that care its also the christies antique show on the 24 Just down the road from rockton . me and hemi kev stopped by last year and its an interesting show . Bit of everything. The antique autopsy tools did freak kev out though.
