I am building a kustom out of my old 1956 Dodge Custom Royal and am looking for a couple decent original bumpers for this build without breaking the bank to replate what I have, since I've already
started to graft 1953 Buick headlamps and a 54 Corvette grill, the make really isnt' too critical so long as I can fit for width, if you have anything kicking around ( in Ontario) shoot me a photo or two with an
overall width so I can see if I can make your treasure work. I have a cool 1954 Oldsmobile bumper but it was a takeoff in late 54 for a light collision, just bent enough that I think I'm gonna frig it up when trying
to press or hammer a shape back in to it. Open to suggestions, must fit the era and chrome look OK as is are my biggest requests. Anyone who may have (4) 1959 Caddy taillight assemblies they bought new
and decided not to use or good takeoffs . I know I can buy new but I am trying to do this while raising kidlets..
If memory serves correct I think the 55 Chrysler bumper is similar enough to what I have that I may as well use what I have,aren't they thin little bumpers with a bullet or light assembly sticking up on the front corners Pete? Have a photo or two?
