after having the parts for 2 yrs I finally have disc brakes and a sway bar on the 57 Pontiac. I used a bracket kit and bought the rotors/calipers/bearings for a Malibu...master for a disc/drum Camaro ( no booster) and brake lines for a 80's chevy truck ...all worked great...the sway bar was from a 80's f-bird . Took it out and smelled fuel ......friggin Mr. Gasket regular was leaking so it got tossed.......next will be the new wiring kit I've had for 4+ yrs....wink

Hey! What is the distance between the bushing clamps on the frame? Around 33 inches? I'm going to do the front sway bar install this summer and need to know what will fit easily. I have an 86 Trans Am and an 85 Z28 to strip. Thanks!

I'll measure it but I did drill the 2 front holes almost at the frame seam. Then made up a plate with 3/8 x 1-1/2 bolts that I welded to the plate. I also had to grind the 2 rear frame holes for adjustment. I'll try and take some pics.

The spacing between the 3/8" bolts is 32"
