See, that is just frickin' ridiculous, overkill.  Clearly a 3" clamp is the right choice.

the handle on that clamp is pretty close to the ground terminal.

No danger there, the postive terminal is so corroded that it would'nt carry a current!! Lol
Bet that pic was taken in the Wal-Mart service garage.

he could have just welded the cable to the terminal and that would give the battery a good quick charge. Hemi knows how to weld dissimilar metals
