Well not to sound like a broken record or anything, but it was quite honestly the best one yet!!! Sure, it sounds like an "ink stamp statement", you know the standard comment that you might make after any show, but it simply WAS the greatest to this day! I will say that I truley did miss having the "Black Sunshine" Funny Car there this year, but next year there is hopefully going to be a nice surprise for the two wheel fans in the crowd! 364 days!!!! Can't wait!

Glad you enjoyed the day Homer, nice shirt by the way!

Ya the Photobucket did something stupid...I deleted it and will try again.  Didn't think anyone caught it.  I deleted it pretty quick.  Anyways ... here's some teasers until the guys with the good cameras and experience load up their pics.

Hey Dave, I saw you from a distance and got interupted twice on my way over to you, then you were gone! We'll catch up next time though. Glad you enjoyed the party!

Man, it was awesome, and I'm not really a car show guy, saw lots of old friends. I had a great time, my wife said I was actually still happy when I got home.

We stopped in on the way back from Bothwell and didn't get to stay a whole long time but sure was a fun time. Great cars of all descriptions. Just out of curiosity Mark, what time did you lock the doors up to go home?

It was right around 2:00 AM for most of the guys.......but for me, the night was still young - I spilled into bed just before 4:00 AM.

Well this is my first post since the big shakeup. It's been a month or more but I just felt it was time to speak up.
I feel that it was a fantastic time on Saturday. Where else can you go spend hours and see that many cool cars, spend time with people with the same interest.
Go through the home of the ELTA which is like looking through a museum.
We had a good parking spot with lots of shade.
I got to meet some people there from this site and other sites that I have talked to but never met.
SORRY I MISSED YOU CHUCK AND JANICE.
There was no one standing there with their hand out waiting for 5 bucks and a ink stamp to stamp my hand.
Hell my wife even got to use the ELTA washroom with a flush toilet for free.
I would like to thank Mark and all the disciples for making the day enjoyable (for most). YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
This event really is something to make many envious.
Not too much for free in this day and age!!!
My opinion TMJ

I would like to nominate BoB Maxwell to book all entertainent for next year! Im sure with his musical taste he can arrange for entertainment that will statisfy

ALL 2000 People that were in attendance.

BoB....your budget is $ 0.00 I'm sure you will do a great job pleasing everybody

Mark.....Hats off to you brother!  Nobody could or would put the effort you did into this FREE....I repeat....FREE event !

No charge for enterants....no charge for spectators.....just a great day to see amazing cars and meet icons of current and past erra's

This show is one of a kind with international attention.

Again...great job Mark....and all the ELTA brothers that made this the summer happening in Ontario

well as a matter of fact I do put on events every year with a zero budget and I do appreciate feedback from participants to improve for next year, the show was absolutely vantastic,,I know the hard work that goes into it because I put a whole year into planning mine. my opinion was FREE and just that. it was not a shot and not only my opinion but other people I talked too. so if you don't like it don't read it..like you said it was FREE if you have a different opinion that's fine with me too..im not going to jump all over you about it but don't assume you know what i can do

I'm sorry Chuck! I had a wedding I had to attend. Although it was my sister in law's 3rd wedding...for some reason my comment about "I can't make it. I'll go to the next one" didn't gain me any bonus points.

But I have to ask, where do you come up with me coming off as  a "Police", you fellows really need to find something or someone to put down that bad?.confuse

Where and when did I criticize someones build? Or where did I post anything about reporting anyone?

And here we go with the name calling again "Dicks" etc...

What's up with you guys?! Got nothing better to do, then to "pounce" on the next guy who has an opinion, that doesn't fall into your criteria.no

Hope this doesn't come out has "threatening".

EDIT: And may I add: Could you please copy and paste examples, of where and when I may have said anything of that nature (without any coaching, if you know what I mean).wink

Please, feel free to copy and paste your unsubstantiated findings.

Do I have to apologize to the "Cat and Hemi" about my comments about the 3/16" brake lines?! Really??!!

Look at what size lines' they are using on ABS systems and stability control etc...

Sorry for stepping on the authorities toes, and pointing out some improvements.

I guess that's why I'm a "know it all".

Grow up will ya?

Trying to put me down, for such trivial ****!

And again I ask, what did I ever do to you Chuk? For you to try and put me down in a public forum?

Sorry ELTA guys, this seems to be destined to the locked or deleted threads, yet again.

Edit partII: Seems like they are many types of goofs. The one that lead's and the one's that fallow (for whatever reason?).

I like my new avatar, it kinda of captures it all.

We attended the Bash for the first time and it lived up to everything we had heard.  Had a great time listening to the bands and talking with fellow car nuts.  We had taken in the Sauble Beach show in the morning and then the Bash late afternoon and evening.  Even the 2 hour drive home didn't seem to phase on us after hearing the cackle fest.  Congrats to ELTA and thank you very much for an excellent event!!  We will return with others in tow now that they have heard us talk about Saturday.

To get people like you to speak up against this behaviour. You didn't comment on him being at that level, did you? You only commented on my post. I've noticed, nobody ever says anything to him.

Thank you for confirming that there is a level that should not be stooped to.

Had an absolute blast at the show! Cannot wait for next year's event! !!

Out of line question.... did anyone see a girl (mid-late 30's) with ass-length dreadlocks? She looked so familiar to me but cannot for the life of me place her!
Anyone know her?

I talked to her and her mate briefly Friday night and even shorter on Saturday. They both ride motorcycles and I'm pretty sure she's local to London.

Hey brother...all I know was she lives in London (close to the ELTA Club Shop) and her boy friend (?) knew a couple of my old club brothers from the old Horse Power Unlimited Club I belong to in Simcoe back in the day........both were great folks to talk with.

Thanks, guys.
kinda narrows it a bit... I dated a girl from London for years so perhaps she was a friend of hers and that's why she looks so familiar.
