the highwaymen (kitchener) annual car show is this sunday June 8th at the waterloo rod and gun club... the location is just south west of St Jacobs. last year there was 300 cars at the event.. there is a live band , food and refreshments,, there is over ten cash draws of $ 100 each.. trophies for top ten,,..if you need more info please ask..thanks
cars start coming in around 8 00 till noon ...then registration is closed.. show will run till 2 30 then the awards...if you go past st Jacobs farmers market.. north about 1/4 mile you make the right towards Heidleburg... go aprox 1 km then make a right down the smalll paved road...(.you are going nortth again..)..go apprx 1 km again then you will see a business that sells flowers...make the left and that road goes to rod and gun club.... the tents are set up .. there will be live music playing too..thanks for interest
I went to Rods& Relics car show at Fort Erie today. Lots of cars there, finished and unfinished. There were some 55 Chevvys that were done up really nice. A 38 Chev from Niagara -on -the Lake was very nice and changed a lot since I last saw it about 8 or 9 years ago which goes to show they are never really finished.
I was a little disappointed in the venders as there was hardly any car parts but lots of car related stuff. was looking for an intake, and some interior cloth and carpeting but no luck.
All in all a good show in a good place, lots of shade trees all over.
